As we enter into another full national lockdown we would like to re-assure our clients that we are still very much open for you and continue to provide our full range of services. Wills, probate and legal work in relation to ongoing court proceedings are defined as essential services by the government and the Law Society has recently confirmed this in its latest guidance here. The providers of these services are also defined as “critical workers” by the government under the Covid guidelines and we are doing everything we can to ensure that we remain in a position to provide these services to you.
In practical terms, not much has changed – our offices were already a “Covid secure” environment for face to face appointments and remain so. Our staff are working both from the office when required and remotely at other times, however our IT and communications systems mean that this is a seamless and largely transparent process for our clients.
Where possible we will try to use audio or video meetings, however should you need to have a face to face appointment with your solicitor we can still arrange this at any of our offices by prior appointment.
We are committed to keeping our clients and staff safe in these challenging times, and this is not exclusively about Covid; sadly issues such as child welfare, domestic abuse and mental health problems are becoming more prevalent during these restrictions and we are here to help.
