EJ Coombs Solicitors have added a third office to the expanding business; with two busy offices in Essex, in Danbury and Billericay, we were looking to expand the practice and an opportunity arose to acquire a specialist family law firm in Caterham, Surrey. The firm, KJ Desbottes and co, was an obvious fit to the EJ Coombs business with a similar brand as a specialist family law firm and a similar ethos and approach to achieving the best outcomes for clients with a mixture of legal expertise, exceptional client care and a pragmatic and client focussed approach.
The Caterham office will continue to practice under the KJ Desbottes and Co brand which is established with a good reputation in the local area and we are excited to have Kate Desbottes , the former principal , and Gina Nicolas, an experienced family law solicitor, working for us in the new Caterham office. Kate Desbottes is continuing in a consultancy role, ensuring a smooth handover for her clients, and then Gina will assume the role of managing the Caterham office alongside a newly recruited family law solicitor position.
We are proud to say that we now have 7 experienced and specialist family law solicitors working within the firm; this enables us to offer a wealth of experience, expertise and support which few other firms can rival, and a truly specialist service to all of our clients who are facing family issues.
With this growth it was time to revise the structure of the firm to cater for the expanding business and also place the business in a position look for further expansion and opportunity. A new company, EJ Coombs Solicitors Ltd has been formed with Liz Coombs maintaining a leading role as Managing Director of the three offices. Sara Barnes has also taken on the role of Director and responsibility for the Danbury office, Hannah Kelly is looking after the Billericay office and as previously mentioned Gina Nicolas will oversee the Caterham practice.
There will be no change to the way we are working with our clients and we will continue to offer the same client focussed approach on which we pride ourselves, We’ve taken the best from both practices to make all aspects of our business as efficient as possible, and to enable us to continue to do so into the future.
