We are fully operational and able to offer all normal services. Our staff are working remotely with full access to all systems and can be contacted via the normal office phone number and email addresses. In line with revised government guidance we are now able to offer some face to face meetings at our offices by prior arrangement.

Miranda Seaman

Miranda qualified as a solicitor in 1992, having read Economics with Mathematics and Statistics at University College London before studying Law at Birmingham. Following qualification, she has gained extensive experience in all types of Family Law, practising at firms in London, Hertfordshire and Essex. She was for some years the Senior Partner of an Essex firm of solicitors.

Miranda deals with all aspects of family law including divorce and financial settlements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, dissolution of same sex partnerships, separation, and advice for unmarried couples. She also has significant experience in dealing with cases involving children, including living/contact arrangements, parental responsibility grandparents’ rights, and financial claims for children.

Miranda is an accredited specialist with Resolution and adopts its Code of Practice. Her accredited specialisms are in Advanced Financial Provision and Private Children Law,

Miranda is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel.

In addition, Miranda has some experience in representing parents in Care Proceedings and early on in her career was fortunate enough to represent a parent in a successful appeal to the House of Lords, now known as the Supreme Court.

Miranda is easy to talk to and adopts a sensible, yet pragmatic, approach in finding the best solution for each individual client’s needs.
